Day 1: Rishikesh to Ransi Village

Day 2: Ransi to Madhmaheshwar Temple
- Trek Distance: Approx. 16 km (6–7 hrs)
- Trail: Trek through Gaundar village, forests, waterfalls & mountain trails
- Stay: Guesthouse/Camps near Madhmaheshwar Temple
Day 3: Madhmaheshwar Temple to Ransi
- Trek Distance: Approx. 16 km descent (5–6 hrs)
- Trail: Descend through scenic Himalayan villages and lush forest trails
- Stay: Guesthouse/Homestay in Ransi Village
Day 4: Ransi to Rishikesh
- Drive Distance: Approx. 220 km (8–9 hrs)
- Route: Return drive via Ukhimath, Rudraprayag & Devprayag

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 - Rishikesh to Ransi (241 Km Drive, 8–9 Hours, Approx. 6,500 ft )
Begin the journey from Rishikesh towards Ransi through scenic Himalayan roads, river valleys, and beautiful Garhwali villages. En route, witness mesmerizing views of sacred river confluences, lush mountains, and charming landscapes of Uttarakhand.
Reach Ransi by evening and check into the guest house/homestay. Relax amidst the peaceful Himalayan surroundings followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Ransi to Madhmaheshwar Temple (16 Km Trek, 5–6 Hours, Approx. 11,450 ft)
After breakfast, begin the trek from Ransi towards the sacred Madhyamaheshwar Temple. The trail passes through dense forests, wooden bridges, waterfalls, and picturesque Himalayan villages offering breathtaking mountain views throughout the journey.
Upon reaching the temple, experience the divine atmosphere of one of the revered Panch Kedar shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy the serene surroundings followed by dinner and an overnight stay near the temple.
Day 3 - Madhmaheshwar Temple to Ransi (16 Km Trek, 5–6 Hours, 11,450 ft to 6,500 ft)
Wake up amidst the peaceful Himalayan surroundings and witness the spiritual beauty of Madhyamaheshwar Temple before beginning the descent towards Ransi.
Upon reaching the temple, experience the divine atmosphere of one of the revered Panch Kedar shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy the serene surroundings followed by dinner and an overnight stay near the temple.
Day 4 - Ransi to Rishikesh (241 Km Drive, 8–9 Hours, 6,500 ft to 1,220 ft)
After breakfast, depart from Ransi and begin the return journey towards Rishikesh.
Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful Himalayan roads, river valleys, and sacred confluences of Uttarakhand. Reach Rishikesh by evening with unforgettable memories of the sacred Madhmaheshwar trek.
Inclusion / Exclusion
Inclusions:
- Transportation from Rishikesh to the trek starting point and return back to Rishikesh as per the itinerary.
- Accommodation on sharing basis in guest houses, homestays, and alpine camps/tents during the entire trek.
- Nutritious vegetarian meals during the trek including breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner as mentioned in the itinerary.
- Services of experienced trek leaders, local guides, and support staff throughout the journey.
- High-quality camping equipment including tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping mats for all camping stays.
- All required forest permits, camping permissions, and entry fees related to the trek.
- Basic first aid support and medical kit available with the trek leader.
- Bonfire and group activities during selected campsite stays (subject to weather and local regulations).
- Assistance with trek coordination and safety management throughout the expedition.
Exclusions:
- Lunch on Day 1 and Day 5 is not included in the package. Trekkers are advised to carry sufficient cash and arrange their meals during the road journey or at designated stop points en route.
- Any kind of personal expenses such as snacks, mineral water, beverages, personal medicines, laundry, phone calls, internet charges, porter tips, and shopping are not covered under the package cost.
- Rental charges for trekking gear and equipment including trekking poles, ponchos, jackets, shoes, gloves, or any personal trekking accessories will be applicable separately if required by the trekkers.
- Expenses arising due to unforeseen situations such as roadblocks, landslides, snowfall, weather changes, natural disasters, strikes, transportation delays, or any other circumstances beyond the control of the organizers are not included and will have to be borne by the participants directly.
- Any medical expenses, evacuation charges, emergency transport, or additional accommodation caused due to health issues, trek delays, or personal reasons will also be chargeable separately.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancilation Policy
- Cancellation made 30 days or more before the trek departure date will receive a full refund after deduction of a 5% processing fee.
- Cancellation made between 15 to 29 days before the trek departure date will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total trek fee.
- No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 15 days before the trek departure date.
- No refund will be applicable in case of a no-show or unused services after the trek has started.
Note: Refunds will be processed within 10 business days. Incase the trek is cancelled by The Mountain Hike due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural calamities, roadblocks, or government restrictions, the trek will only be rescheduled and no monetary refund will be provided.
