After breakfast, begin your trek from Wan Village towards Gairoli Patal. The trail initially passes through the sacred Latu Devta Temple, where trekkers often pause to seek blessings before starting their journey. From here, the path descends to the Neel Ganga River, a refreshing spot where you can refill water bottles and take a short break. After crossing the river, the trail turns into a steady climb through dense oak and rhododendron forests, known for their vibrant colors during spring.
The trek is moderate but can feel demanding at times due to the continuous ascent. As you walk deeper into the forest, the surroundings become peaceful, with birdsong and the sound of rustling leaves accompanying you. The trail gradually ascends, opening up from dense oak and rhododendron forests into vast stretches of rolling green pastures. As you climb higher, the majestic Himalayan peaks begin to reveal themselves, with Mt. Trishul and Nanda Ghunti standing tall on the horizon.
The 7 km trek takes around 5 hours at a steady pace, allowing time to enjoy the scenery and take photographs.
